AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

GENERAL INFORMATION

     Giving special recognition to the individuals responsible for the safe performance of work is one of the key factors behind a successful loss control program. Such recognition should include operations people from management down to any including the individual employee.

     Recognition can take the form of commendation, gift awards and monetary awards. 

AWARDS LEVELS

Awards and recognition should be provided at three levels:

(1)        Senior Level - Project or plant superintendents up to and including senior operations manager.

(2)        Junior Level - All field engineers are eligible as long as they meet the criteria described in the Junior Safety Awards Program clarifications of eligibility.

(3)        First level supervisors.

(4)        Individual employee or work crews.

 AWARDS AND RECOGNITION

    
The company will establish its own programs and methods for utilizing their awards and recognition budget for first level supervisors, work crews and/or individual employee.
