SAFETY INDOCTRINATION AND TRAINING (EDUCATION)
Company’s safety training efforts need to be continuing and
on-going to produce the best results. The program should cover
several subjects, be presented in an interesting manner and in
different ways. The program should be continuous; not hit and
miss; that is conducted on an emergency handling only basis will
be less effective. Short-term results may be realized, but
interest will lag if initial efforts are not provided with
follow-up. Good job site safety instruction will show the work
force the importance and value that the employer places on
safety. Repetition and reinforcement are key words in successful
Safety Training and indoctrination. |
